Shorns is dark, volcanic, and reeks of sulfur. Most castes of the native Shorlaks are deeply religious, worshiping the trees, the ground, individual volcanoes and mysterious areas such as the Eye of Kordozza. The planet is mostly forested, by mammoth trees with thick interlocking branches that form a second surface of the world that often must be cut through in order to reach the true surface. The tree cover increases the surface darkness by effectively blocking all light.
